Magnesium Bath Flakes

Magnesium bath flakes are made from magnesium chloride while epsom salts are magnesium sulfate. Although both contain a form of magnesium, magnesium chloride is much better suited for topical application.

Magnesium chloride is the best choice because of its clinical and pharmacological effects, and its lower tissue toxicity as compared to magnesium sulfate. Magnesium chloride is more easily assimilated, and therefore more bioavailable or easily-absorbed and utilized by the body. Whereas magnesium sulfate is not as easily absorbed and utilized in the body.

You can add essential oils, as they come unscented, and it’s safe for children and the elderly.

Magnesium chloride helps you sleep by alerting the receptors in your brain that it is time to wind down and go to sleep.

Sleep problems can sometimes be linked to a magnesium deficiency. Meanwhile, studied indicate that magnesium can help relieve insomnia, such as sleep efficiency, sleep time and sleep onset latency.

By increasing levels of magnesium with the use of a topical magnesium like Ancient Minerals Magnesium Bath Flakes, you just may be able to get a better night’s sleep.
